Research - BI
I found this on Pintrest. I really like the illustrations around the car. Even the car looks cool but i want to keep mine as a photograph.
The image was found on motoriginal.com but I tried to go to this website and the page couldn't be found.
Research - BI
I already have a photo of my car that I took earlier on this year. This one is edited on instagram and the quality isn't very nice, but I think I will photoshop it to get it looking better and perhaps use it as my cover page.

Research - BI
Looking at covers for my project and I'm liking the look of these photos so I think i'll follow in these footsteps.

Research - LBM
My concept 'Beauty is in the eye of the beholder'.
I look at images like this and think, gosh I couldn't get up everyday and spend so much time making myself look this flawless. Sure we all like to look good, maybe put a little make up on, wear clothes and compliment our figure, but to me this is next level.
It's almost like a whole different person. I think you are beautiful in the skin your in not the temporary mask you wear. It's deceiving.
I don't want to contradict myself because if you want to make yourself up everyday, I put my hands up to you. It's good to care about yourself. Sometimes it's just a little too extreme in my opinion.

New Idea - LBM
I came up with a new idea for my assessment task. Instead of have just the image of my face with make up and without i want to have that image printed in a plain singlet and wear it with a hat covering my face saying 'UGLY' across the the cap and take that as the final image. I think it will have a deeper effect this way.
I drew a rough picture of what I mean.

Here is a few more pictures from Performance Car I have found that are exactly what i would like to do with my photographs.

Building Images - Research
I'm looking at different photographs of cars and the angles they are taken on to look at how I am going to take photos of my car for my assessment.
I like this angle of the whole car, I might use it for one of my 6 pages.
I will be doing a driver profile on myself. I like this idea.

Photoshop Experiment & Technique LBM
Just having a play on photoshop using The brush tool, Polygonal Lasso tool & opacity.
I'm not the greatest at photoshop but it's a bit of fun seeing what you can do. :)
Beauty is in the eye of the beholder LBM
I found this image on Google from the website http://www.lollipop.sg.
This is exactly what I want my concept to be.
Not everything you see is real.
Self Portraiture LBM
This is an image of Davy Jourget. He is a photographer that does Self Portraiture. His work is what I would call different and original.
I like this idea of a self portrait below.
I like how the image looks dark and deep in B&W. Also the image he is holding in front of his face give the picture layers. It's kind of scary but exciting. I would like to do something like this perhaps in a brighter enviroment about self image e.g. with make up on and without make up.

Research - illustrationmundo.com BI
I found an artist on the website illustrationmundo.com who goes by the name of Ian Keltie.
I really love what he does with graphics. This is exactly the type of work I want to get into.
All of his work is vibrant and exciting to look at. You are constantly finding new things inside his works.
Here is a few of them.
Editorial Illustrations, Timeout Magazine, London
Editorial Illustrations, ESPN Magazine, NYC
Hair the Musical Art, Arizona Theatre Company, Tuscon
I chose Ians work because they give me the sense of modern mixed with retro. Never a dull moment looking at art like this!
Line & Texture LBM
Texture
These 2 images show texture. The smoothness of the bottle/lighter against the roughness of the carseat cover/road.
Lines
These images show different variations of lines.

Image that utilizes rule of thirds LBM
I took an image of the reserve with one of my classmates by MIT Z Block using the rule of thirds.
The bottom line being where the footpath is. The top line sort of skimming the top of the trees. My classmate being the vertical line on the right and I placed the right vertical line sort of imaginarily half way between the low bush on the right.

We had to put an image of ourself onto the cover of a magazine with a little added text. Here is what i did.
Photoshop 4 Clothes Designs BI
My concept for these designs is motivation with typography. There is one that I don't like but I thought I would use it anyway because before success comes failure.
1)
2)
3)
4)
The 3rd one I think is a bit simple. Even though I like simple it may be a little too simple. Although I do think it is effective.

Statement LBM
Not a day goes by without me stressing about getting everything completed but i keep pushing forward because this is my passion. Work hard, play hard!
Paper Plane LBM
This is my second attempt at making a paper plane and seeing if it would fly.
My first attempt was feeble and literally just fell on the floor. I think the reason being my design was not that great.
Sooooo, I went back and redesigned my plane by folding it differently and what do ya know, it flew!
